Summer Engagement Photos at The Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont | Vermont Wedding Photographer
Anna and Shane are new to Vermont, settling into life in the Green Mountains after relocating from the Midwest. Shane works as a pharmacist, and Anna is a sample-maker sewist for a startup clothing manufacturer. Did her dress catch your eye like it did mine? Of course I had to ask where she got it, and yes, she made it herself.
Although Anna and Shane will be getting married back in their home state of Nebraska, they wanted to celebrate and remember this new chapter of life in Vermont. For their engagement photos, we met at the beautiful Trapp Family Lodge, one of the most scenic mountain locations for a Vermont engagement session.
We scheduled their photos for the summer solstice, which meant long golden hours and plenty of soft evening light. Even better, the weather cooperated, temperate, sunny, and clear. A true Vermont “diamond day,” perfect for engagement photos in Stowe.
With sweeping views of the Worcester Range, carefully maintained gardens, and wide meadows of wildflowers, the grounds at the Trapp Family Lodge offer no shortage of beautiful backdrops for engagement photography. It’s one of the most picturesque spots in Vermont for couples who want mountain views and a relaxed, adventurous feel for their engagement session.
There was no better way to welcome summer than exploring this incredible location together. Anna and Shane brought so much curiosity, warmth, and adventure to their Vermont engagement session, and I loved wandering the trails and fields with them.
Thank you both for such a joyful evening.
