Emily and Pat’s Winter Wedding at The Boylston Rooms

Finding your forever person can happen fast. All of a sudden you meet someone and there’s a connection. In Emily and Pat’s case, the reality of their connection seemed to hit them both at the same time.

In May of 2017, after a month of talking online, Emily and Patrick had their first date in Newport, Rhode Island. On the drive home, they both knew they had something special. In an instant! They knew.

Ten months later, they moved into their first shared apartment and start building their life together — going to concerts, sharing take out pizza nights, and going on vacations.

In July of 2021, they returned to Newport to the very spot where they had their first date, and Pat surprised Emily with a proposal.

This December they celebrated with their family and friends at the industrial wedding venue, the Boylston Rooms, in Easthampton, Massachusetts.

Emily loves the winter and after a visit to the Boylston Rooms, she and Pat were both so taken by the industrial space that they thought it would be the perfect spot for a winter wedding.

My favorite thing about the Boylston Rooms is that couples don’t need to go crazy with decor to make it beautiful. The building has so much character that you can be minimal and let the beauty of the space shine.

With the exception of a few evergreens and candles, they let the Boylston Rooms do its thing.
