Katie and Bradley’s Lake Bomoseen Lodge Wedding | Vermont Wedding Photographer
Katie and Bradley’s Lake Bomoseen Lodge wedding was the kind of day that makes you wish summer could last forever. The sun was shining, the lake was sparkling, and everyone there just seemed so happy to be outside celebrating two really wonderful people.
Katie grew up spending summers on Lake Bomoseen, so having a Vermont lakeside wedding here was such a full-circle moment. Lake Bomoseen Lodge is one of the dreamiest Vermont wedding venues.
It’s right on the water with sweeping views of the Green Mountains and it gave their whole day this relaxed, summery vibe.
The ceremony was right on the lake, under two big old trees with the mountains in the distance. Their floral arch, designed by Glad Farm in Montpelier, Vermont, was bursting with color, which felt so cheerful against the blue of the lake. You could hear the leaves rustling overhead while they exchanged vows, and it honestly felt like the whole place was cheering them on. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect wedding ceremony backdrop.
After saying the ceremony, Katie and Bradley hopped on a boat for a quick ride across the lake. I loved this part. It gave them a chance to soak it all in before heading back for cocktails with their guests. (Plus, there’s something very cool about zipping across Lake Bomoseen in a wedding dress.)
Dinner and dancing were held in the lodge where guests enjoyed toasts and plenty of time on the dance floor.
If you’re dreaming of a lakeside Vermont wedding, it’s hard to beat Lake Bomoseen Lodge. This wedding was the perfect mix of personal, adventurous, and joy-filled.
Exactly the kind of celebration Katie and Bradley wanted.
