Booking a portrait session with your family isn't just about snapping a few pictures. It's about saying, "Let's set some time aside to be together in a different place."

This afternoon was a fresh reminder that portrait sessions are more than just posing for photos. It's about time, deliberately marked to hang out with each other and venture into uncharted territory.

Birdie and her family decided to meet up on a warm fall day for a hike and some maternity photos at Tyringham Cobble in Berkshire County. The session was an opportunity to soak in the scenic beauty of the Berkshire Mountains and share some genuine quality time together.

This one had a few favorites and exploring with them was a good time, no doubt about it.
